A still from a Chanberry Films wedding film

The day, remembered in full.

Story-driven wedding films built around your real voices — the vows, the laughter, the toast that broke the room. Not a song laid over pretty clips.

The Approach

A wedding film shouldn't just replay your day. It should let you feel it again.

Most wedding videos are a song laid over pretty clips. I build films the other way around — starting with sound. Your vows. The speeches. The quiet things said between just the two of you. Then I cut the images to match the feeling, so years from now you can close your eyes and still be there.

01

Sound first

Your real voices carry the film — vows and toasts recorded properly, not muffled under music. It's the difference between watching your day and reliving it.

02

Documentary eye

A decade of documentary and brand work taught me to find the real moment and stay out of its way. Unstaged, unhurried, honest to who you are.

03

A story, not a reel

Every film is shaped like a short documentary about two people — a beginning, a middle and an ending you'll want to return to for the rest of your life.

A few more films across the years. My earliest weddings taught me the craft; the story-first approach above is where it's all been heading.

The Filmmaker

Hi, I'm Jonathan.

I've been a filmmaker for fifteen years. I started shooting weddings in 2012, and spent the years since making documentary and brand films — work that quietly changed how I see a wedding day.

I stopped seeing it as a highlight reel to set to music, and started seeing it as a short documentary about two people. So I'm taking on a small, careful number of weddings again — with better gear, a sharper eye, and a story-first approach I simply couldn't have offered a decade ago.

If that's the kind of film you want — one built from your real voices, that still moves you years from now — I'd love to hear about your day.
